1.Enero es el primer mes del año. A menudo decimos:

2.Estamos a principios de año.

3.Febrero es el mes más corto del año.

4.En marzo, se cierra el primer trimestre y comienza la primavera.

5.En abril, aguas mil.

6.Mayo es el mes de las flores

7.Junio: comienzo del verano, vacaciones escolares y fin del primer semestre.

8.Julio tiene dos significados en castellano.

9.Agosto es el mes de la cosecha. De ahí viene la frase: ¿hacer un agosto¿.

10.El otoño comienza en septiembre.

11.En octubre, el tiempo es ya más gris.

12.La vida nocturna disminuye en noviembre. El año va apagándose.

13.En diciembre, entramos en invierno y nos preparamos para

14.festejar el fin de año y el año nuevo.

2.En Abril, aguas mil is a proverb. A literal translation would be ¿In April, waters thousand (waters by the thousand)¿.
