Notes.-

1.Acostarse is a reflexive verb. The -se on the end of the infinitive is the reflexive pronoum. It changes according to the subject of the verb, and, literally, means ¿oneself¿, ¿myself¿, ¿yourself¿, etc. Reflexive verbs are very common in Spanish.

2.Except for one o'clock we always say ¿they are¿ with the feminine las referring to the hours. E.g., son las ocho y media= ¿it is half past eight¿ (¿they are the eights and a half¿). We'll come back to this later.
