1.En primavera, la naturaleza se viste de colores.

2.Los árboles están en flor

3.La vida resucita en los campos y los jardines florecen

4.Los pájaros, como los niños, parecen despertarse.

5.Los armarios se vacían y se rellenan

6.El verano es la estación en la que la tierra ofrece al hombre sus frutos.

7.Es la época de la cosecha en los campos y de la recolección de la fruta.

8.Los días son más largos. El sol se levanta más pronto y se pone más tarde.

9.En las ciudades se aprovecha para coger las vacaciones.

10.En otoño, el vino llega a las bodegas.

11.Los árboles dejan caer sus hojas.

12.Los colegiales vuelven a tomar el camino de la escuela.

13.En invierno, la vida es más lenta. La nieve reviste la tierra de blanco.

14.Todo parece reposar y, en silencio, se espera el nuevo ciclo.

2.The trees are in flower.

3.Life comes back in the fields and the gardens flower.

4.The birds, like the children, seem to wake up.

5.The cupboards empty and fill.

6.Summer is the season in which the land offers to man its fruits.

7.It is the period of the harvest in the fields and of the picking of the fruit.

8.The days are longer. The sun rises earlier and sets later.

9.In the towns, one takes advantage to take holidays.

10.The autumn, the wine arrives in the cellars.

11.The trees lose their leaves.

12.The schoolchildren take the road to school again.

13.In winter life is slower. The snow dresses the land in white.

14.Everything seems to rest and, in silence, we await a new cycle.

Notes.-

1.Estación has two meanings: ¿station¿ and ¿season¿.

2.Fruta (feminine) applies to the fruit we eat. Fruto means fruit in the sense of ¿result¿, as in el fruto de mi trabajo: ¿the fruit(s) of my work.

3.The sun ¿gets up¿ like people, with the reflexive verb levantarse. But it doesn't ¿lie down¿, it ¿puts itself¿: el sol se levanta y se pone. La puesta del sol: ¿the sunset¿.
